Where girls read for fun
When you have a group of girls who take on the challenge to read eight books during the school year-- you should reward them! What better way to surprise girls then with a carefully planned tea party. Books and Butterflies brought together participants, volunteers and our lovely progressionistas to celebrate a successful first year! It was an amazing turn out, beautiful decorations and kind words from girls in the program. We even had the pleasure of hearing Loretta A. Mormon, author of Hello my Name is B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. as our speaker!

The book club and year end tea party was a great success. As a parent of a Progressionista, it always warmed my heart to see my daughter participate in the book club and read the books assigned. She wanted to attend the monthly bookclub meetings and read the books. It wasn't a forced effort, it was simply because she enjoys reading and being a part of the bookclub gave her a platform to do so unapologetically.
