January Book Club: Mad Scientists

The January book club meeting was madly scientific. The girls learned all about what it means to be a scientist who experiments to find ways to help people. This month's read was from the Franny K. Stein: The Mad Scientist series by Jim Benton. 

The January progressionista was Ruth Synowiec, a scientist who works at a lab at Wayne State where she does research based on DNA. She not only showed the girls the importance of her work on helping save the lives of others but that women can be scientists too!
