Saturday was the first meeting of the third year of Progressionista! How exciting! At this meeting we had a lot of fun with purses. After learning how to design and create handbags-- we were given materials to make our very own coin purses from scratch. Just like these magic bags we made, our new read "Phoebe: The Fashion Fairy" is all about a fashion-forward fairy who has her own special bag she carries around. Our September progressionista is creative artist and purse designer Ciara! After learning to sew in college, she took her art to the nextlevel by teaching herself to create purses/ She has designed a variety of purses for every occassion and is planning on opening her very own shop selling them! Her artistic journey was a great inspiration for all of our new and returning girls!
