Where girls read for fun
We celebrated our last book club meeting of the year with a fun game of Progressionista Jeopardy! We answered questions about all of our books and speakers this year. It was amazing to see how much we've learned and retained!
For the rest of the meeting, we had a fun-filled game day equipped with board games and the girls' favorite...homemade slime! What a cool way to end such an awesome year.
The Need for Women Who Read
One of Progressionista's principles is, "Women Who Read, Lead." Our Women Who Read campaign honors the many phenomenal women who have read their way to the top.
Whether it's our Progressionista speakers who inspire our participants to read or the celebrity women like Oprah Winfrey who credit books to their success— women who read are changing the world each day. You can help us show Detroit girls how reading for leisure leads to life's greatest joys in three ways during the month of May!
Support the work of Progressionista by donating to our Generosity Campaign. Your generous donation will help us continue to inspire girls to become Women Who Read! You can donate now until Saturday, May 13th! Help us help girls see the possibilities in life through our book club.

We know how much books mean to so many women around the world, especially women leaders! The last week of May, we will be launching our Women Who Read, Lead tees! Wear a message that will not only show your love of books but inspire every girl who looks in your direction to read as well.
